Collection: Jazz Vinyl

Bebop through to the present. The landmark records and carefully selected pressings, right up to the artists and labels shaping the music today. Blue Note. Impulse! Then Gondwana, International Anthem, Brownswood and Edition Records: labels that shaped the music and continue to move it forward.

The Blue Note shelf runs from Art Blakey's Moanin' and Hank Mobley's Soul Station to Herbie Hancock's Empyrean Isles and Donald Byrd's Places And Spaces, with Coltrane's A Love Supreme and Crescent and Mingus Ah Um alongside. Newer music sits right next to it: Makaya McCraven and Jeff Parker on International Anthem, Matthew Halsall, Jasmine Myra and GoGo Penguin on Gondwana, and the London scene through Ezra Collective, Nubya Garcia and Kokoroko.

There's also a used section of graded 70s and 80s jazz, jazz-funk and fusion, from Weather Report's Heavy Weather and Bob James' Heads to Freddie Hubbard and Grover Washington Jr. Every used record has its media and sleeve condition listed, and new records are brand new and factory sealed. Everything ships Australia-wide from Melbourne.
