Chip Wickham's most fully realised record to date, released on the Lovemonk label in 2020 — six tracks built around soaring flute melodies, Amanda Whiting's harp and Dan “JD 73” Goldman's electric keys, with Jon Scott on drums and Simon Houghton on bass and cello. Where his earlier records leaned harder into spiritual jazz, this one pulls toward hip-hop and club production without losing the cosmic streak entirely. Wickham has framed its underlying concern as “a culture crisis rather than a climate crisis” — more about how people live than the planet itself.
