This 2025 Now-Again release collects the ultra-rare 7-inch singles from Zambia's WITCH — “Talking Universe,” “Toloka,” “Chifundo” and others — into what the label frames as the band's final golden-age document. Formed as one of the founding Zamrock groups, WITCH cut five albums across the 1970s: the first two leaned into garage rock filtered through the Rolling Stones and James Brown, before later records pulled in traditional Zambian rhythms and folk melody, pushing the band toward something more distinctly its own than their early influences suggested. Fool's Ride catches the singles that fell outside that album run.
