This orange-vinyl pressing is the same 2022 record that turned out to be The Comet Is Coming's last — released on Impulse! and mastered by Daddy Kev, announced that July alongside lead single “Code.” It landed to strong reviews, an 82 on Metacritic across eight critics, and turned up on year-end lists from AllMusic, DJ Mag and Uncut. Shabaka Hutchings, Danalogue and Betamax closed out the trio's run on their biggest-sounding record yet, rather than easing off toward the end.
