Heartache In Room 14, released February 2025 on Daptone, is the debut album from LA soul group The Altons, produced by Gabriel Roth under his Bosco Mann alias after several singles on Daptone's sister label Penrose alongside labelmates Thee Sacred Souls. Dual lead vocalists Adriana Flores and Bryan Ponce trade lines across ten tracks that move between moody ballads, tejano-inflected duets sung partly in Spanish, and horn-driven soul, backed by drummer Caitlin Moss, bassist Chris Manjarrez and keyboardist Joseph Quinoes, with Roth again handling the mix as well as production.
