Nicole Wray's first solo album in eighteen years, released September 2016 on Big Crown as her debut under the Lady Wray name. Leon Michels and Thomas Brenneck produced and played most instrumentation at Queens' Diamond Mine studio, Wray writing every song over a blend of contemporary R&B and 60s and 70s retro soul. Backing vocalists Alecia Chakour and Saundra Williams join instrumentalists Dave Guy and Nick Movshon on a comeback record following years away from music under her own name.
