More Of The Good Life, released 1981 on Mirage, is the second album from T.S. Monk's band, the son of Thelonious Monk, who got his first drum kit from Art Blakey at fifteen and toured in his father's trio until Monk Sr.'s 1975 retirement. It followed House of Music, whose "Bon Bon Vie (Gimme the Good Life)" had been a genuine hit, though this record's singles didn't repeat that success. Most songs were written by Sandy Linzer.
