Nikolaj Svaneborg and Jonas Kardyb named this record after a public park in Copenhagen’s Nørrebro district — a once-derelict site the Superflex art collective redeveloped in the early 2010s specifically to bring together the neighbourhood’s immigrant and local communities. The Danish duo, who won two Danish Music Awards for their Gondwana debut Over Tage, took that regenerative idea as a loose model for their own musical development here. Wurlitzer, Juno and piano trade off with drums and percussion across melodies indebted to Nils Frahm and Jan Johansson — minimal, unhurried, built for exactly the kind of calm the park itself was designed to create.
