Strikes Again, released August 1978 on Whitfield Records, is Rose Royce's third album, produced entirely by Norman Whitfield and recorded at his own Fort Knox studio in Los Angeles. Fronted by Gwen Dickey, the record reached number four on the R&B albums chart on the strength of "I'm in Love (And I Love the Feeling)," while "Love Don't Live Here Anymore" became the band's biggest UK hit, peaking at number two there. Orchestral arrangements came from veteran arranger Gene Page.
