Les Fleurs, released on Columbia, has Ramsey Lewis re-recording the title track, a Charles Stepney composition he'd first featured on a 1968 album, alongside covers of Stevie Wonder's "Superwoman," Brook Benton's "A House Is Not a Home" and Olivia Newton-John's "Physical." Recorded at CBS's New York studios and Chicago's PS Studios with Lewis producing and George Butler executive producing, the seven-track set reached number ten on Billboard's Jazz Albums chart, translating pop and soul hits into his own piano-trio language.
