Osibirock, released 1974 on Warner Bros., is Osibisa's sixth album, produced by Peter Gallen and adding keyboardist Kiki Djan and guitarist Paul Golly to the band's lineup. The cover reproduces Henri Rousseau's 1910 painting "Negro Attacked by a Jaguar." Written and arranged collectively by the band, the record continues the group's fusion of highlife, Afrobeat and rock that had carried them from Ghana and Nigeria to a UK audience.
