Where the Gods Are in Peace, released September 2017 on Daptone/Afrosound, was the Brooklyn Afrobeat ensemble's first album in five years, recorded at Thump Recording Studio with frontman Duke Amayo co-producing alongside founder Martin Perna. The record examines America's history of exploitation before closing with the three-part suite "Tombstown," imagining a fictional utopian island and featuring a guest appearance from Zap Mama.
