Three Thousand Miles From Home, released on Invictus Records, the label Holland-Dozier-Holland founded after leaving Motown, was produced directly by Brian Holland, giving this little-known group's sole album a direct line back to the Motown sound machine. It went out of print not long after release and stayed that way for decades before a 2018 CD reissue revived interest. Little else about the group's history survives beyond the label's credits and scattered soul-collector reviews.
