Let's Get A Groove On, originally released on Desco Records in the late 1990s and reissued by Daptone, is Lee Fields's first full-length under his own name for the label he'd signed to in 1996. A pre-fame Sharon Jones contributes backing vocals across the eleven tracks, recorded as Fields, a veteran soul singer since the 1960s, found a new audience through the emerging Desco-Daptone soul revival scene.
