Fly Or Die II: Bird Dogs Of Paradise, originally released October 2019 on International Anthem and reissued as this 2025 pressing, was recorded largely at Total Refreshment Centre in London plus two nights live at Cafe OTO, at the end of jaimie branch's first European tour. Cellist Lester St. Louis had recently joined the group, replacing Tomeka Reid. "Prayer for amerikkka pt. 1 & 2" was written and first performed live in Paris on the night of the 2018 US midterm elections. It marked branch's debut as a singer, having said of the shift, "the voice is good for that."
