Ezra Collective's second album, released on Partisan in 2022, moves between packed dance floors and quieter, more reflective moments across fourteen tracks built from years of the band's own onstage improvising translated into studio arrangements. Guests include Sampa The Great on the opener “Life Goes On,” Nao closing the record on “Love In Outer Space,” and Emeli Sandé featuring on “Siesta” — a wider cast than their debut, but folded into the band's own call-and-response instrumental conversations rather than overshadowing them. It marked a clear step up in ambition from their first record.
