Dance Lady Dance, released in 1979 on De-Lite Records, came from a Brooklyn band that started a decade earlier as Ben Iverson and the Nue Dey Express before renaming for their home neighborhood of Crown Heights. Recorded at Bee Jay Studios in Orlando and Blank Tape in New York, the album was produced by Britt Britton and Frieda Nerangis around bassist Arnold "Muki" Wilson, drummer Raymond Rock and guitarist William Anderson. The group split in 1984 and reunited in 2013.
