Wright Back At You, released 1983 on Epic, was produced largely by Marlon Jackson of the Jackson family, recorded across Park South Studios and The Hit Factory in New York and Village Recorders in Los Angeles, with backing vocals from Luther Vandross. One track only, "Reggae the Night Away," was actually cut at Dynamic Sound Studios in Kingston, Jamaica, giving the album a single reggae detour rather than a wholesale style shift.
