Spectrum, released 1985 on Milestone, finds Azymuth's José Roberto Bertrami self-producing a more synth-driven, remix-conscious record than the band's better-known late-1970s work. It was recorded at Liminha Studios in Rio de Janeiro's Jardim Botânico district, then mixed and mastered at Fantasy Studios in Berkeley, California, with remix work credited to Danny Kopelson. The album was pressed simultaneously in Germany, France, Japan and Mexico.
