Marca Passo, released June 2025, marks fifty years since Azymuth's 1975 debut and is the Brazilian jazz-funk group's first full album since founding drummer Ivan "Mamão" Conti died in 2023. Alex Malheiros, the sole remaining original member, leads the group alongside keyboardist Kiko Continentino and new drummer Renato Massa, with producer Daniel Maunick at the helm and Incognito's Jean Paul "Bluey" Maunick guesting on guitar. The record keeps faith with Azymuth's cosmic samba-soul sound rooted in 1970s and '80s Brazilian studio music, and includes two direct tributes: "Last Summer In Rio" for late keyboardist José Roberto Bertrami, and "Samba Pro Mamão" written in Conti's memory.
