Geography, released April 2018, is Tom Misch's debut album, thirteen tracks moving between disco, soul, hip-hop and jazz that showcase the genre-hopping approach he'd built his name on through instrumental beat tapes and guitar-led remixes as a teenager. The title reflects a passion Misch never got to pursue directly, reworked here into a loose musical map instead, each track standing in for some place, real or imagined, that shaped his sound. De La Soul, Poppy Ajudha and Loyle Carner all guest across the record, each pulling Misch's sound in a slightly different direction without disrupting its overall warmth.
