Scientist Meets The Space Invaders, released in 1981, was produced by Mickie "Roots" Scott and Linval Thompson, recorded at Channel One with the Roots Radics and mixed at King Tubby's studio by Scientist. The ten tracks, split across sides titled "First Wall" and "Second Wall," carry space-themed titles like "Beam Down" and "Laser Attack," built from dub versions of Thompson's productions. AllMusic's Stephen Cook has called it a genuinely strong dub record.
