The Saga Continues..., Roger Troutman's second solo album, was released 1984 on Warner Bros. and self-produced, recorded across four studios including his own Troutman Sound Labs in Dayton, Ohio. Backing musicians include Zapp bandmates Larry and Lester Troutman, ex-Ohio Players keyboardist Billy Beck, and saxophonist Maceo Parker. Troutman's talkbox-heavy cover of Wilson Pickett's "In the Midnight Hour" reached the R&B chart alongside lead single "In the Mix."
