Chapter Two, released 1970 on Atlantic, is Roberta Flack's second album, produced by Joel Dorn and King Curtis with horn and string arrangements from Eumir Deodato. Donny Hathaway plays piano and contributes arrangements and background vocals throughout, years before the pair's famous duet album together. Guitarist Eric Gale also features. The record reached number 33 on the Billboard 200 and helped establish Flack as more than the jazz-inflected one-off her debut had suggested.
