Call Me, released April 1973, is Al Green's sixth album, produced by Willie Mitchell with the Memphis Horns and strings at Royal Studios. Unusually for soul music of the era, Green covers Willie Nelson and Hank Williams alongside his own material. Three singles reached the pop top ten, including "Here I Am (Come and Take Me)" and the title track. The album topped the Black Albums chart.
