Love From The Sun (1974) is drummer Norman Connors' album for Buddah, recorded in October 1973 at Wally Heider Studios and produced by Skip Drinkwater. The band includes Herbie Hancock on piano and Fender Rhodes, Gary Bartz and Carlos Garnett on saxophones, Hubert Laws on flute, Eddie Henderson on trumpet and Buster Williams on bass, with Dee Dee Bridgewater singing on the title track and "Holy Waters". It was Connors' last straight jazz album under his own name before he moved toward R&B and soul. We also have his 1977 album Romantic Journey. This is the US Buddah pressing in a gatefold cover.
