The Sydney five-piece's second album on their own La Sape label, released in 2019 following their 2017 self-titled debut. Dave Rodriguez, Dom Kirk, Jan Bangma, Tully Ryan and Andrew Bruce built the band's reputation on warehouse shows before moving into records, blending ambient and electronic textures with beat-driven, largely improvised playing that the group has said never repeats itself the same way twice live. This record sits early in a catalogue that would eventually stretch as far as a Sydney Symphony Orchestra collaboration, the improvisational core already firmly in place here from the start.
