Make The Road By Walking, released October 2008 on Dunham Records, is the debut from a Brooklyn instrumental group formed by producer Thomas Brenneck and drawn from Antibalas, El Michels Affair and Budos Band personnel, named for the street where Brenneck lived. The title track's instrumental circulated widely before this release, later sampled by Jay-Z on "Roc Boys," with further cuts drawn on by Kid Cudi, Kendrick Lamar and Eminem.
