Freedom (Celebrating the Music of Pharoah Sanders), recorded live at LA's Blue Whale in January 2018 and released four years later on Soul Bank Music, has pianist Mark de Clive-Lowe leading vocalist Dwight Trible, saxophonist Teodross Avery, bassist Corbin Jones and percussionist Carlos Nino through twelve Pharoah Sanders compositions, including "Ore-Se-Rere" and "You've Got to Have Freedom." De Clive-Lowe has said the group played "from a place of love, respect and gratitude," adding that no one can play this music the way Pharoah does, calling his expression unique and imprinted on every one of his compositions.
