Kiefer's 2021 EP for Stones Throw runs eight tracks, guest spots from The Kount, 10.4 ROG, Lakey Inspired and trumpeter Theo Croker filling out a record built around his usual blend of jazz chords and lo-fi hip-hop production. A relatively compact release between his fuller-length albums, closer to a sketchbook of ideas than a single unified statement, though the title track and “Friends” carry the same warm, keys-forward sound that's defined his catalogue since.
