I Hear A Symphony, recorded in mid-1975 at Van Gelder Studio and released that year on Kudu, is Hank Crawford's fifth album for the CTI subsidiary, produced by Creed Taylor and arranged by David Matthews. A deep session lineup, trumpeter Jon Faddis, trombonist Fred Wesley, guitarist Eric Gale and drummer Steve Gadd among them, backs Crawford's alto sax, with Patti Austin taking lead vocals on select tracks.
