Can't Hide Love, released 1976 on Blue Note, is Carmen McRae's second album for the label, recorded at A&M Studios in Los Angeles with producer Dale Oehler and a deep bench of West Coast session players including Dave Grusin, Larry Carlton and Harvey Mason. Rather than jazz standards, McRae works through contemporary pop covers, Earth, Wind & Fire, James Taylor and an Alice Cooper cover, "Only Women Bleed," alongside Gershwin's "The Man I Love." Neither charted.
