Winelight, released 1980 on Elektra and produced by Grover Washington Jr. with Ralph MacDonald, brought in Bill Withers to sing lead on "Just the Two of Us," the album's breakout single. Steve Gadd, Eric Gale and Richard Tee round out the session. The record reached number two on the UK chart and number twenty-four on the Billboard 200, and won the Grammy for Best Jazz Fusion Performance.
