This Leeds trio's 2020 EP on the London label Blue Flowers leans lighter and more optimistic than their earlier work, built around soul, hip-hop, R&B and jazz with a run of guest vocalists including Rosie Lowe, Pip Millet and Flikka. The band's smoky, low-lit production sound stays intact even as the mood brightens, a set of collaborations one reviewer called among the freshest of that year, aiming for something that would hold up rather than sound tied to its moment.
