Marvin Horsch, recording as Gianni Brezzo, built this January 2024 EP for Jakarta Records “born live in the studio,” six tracks — including “Focus Interferes,” the title cut and closer “Milan Nights” — blending jazz progressions with electronica: guitar melodies, dreamy harps and saxophone and flute lines woven around subtle drum programming throughout. Following his 2022 album Tutto Passa (later synced to Gossip Girl) and the baroque-leaning Music For Harlequins, this is a more groove-driven turn, favoring spontaneous studio energy over the more composed approach of his earlier, more meticulously arranged records.
