Dance, No One's Watching, released September 2024, tracks a night out from evening into dawn, framed by Ezra Collective as a tribute to dancing as something close to sacred. It was written across 2023, a year that saw the band become the first jazz act to win the Mercury Prize and tour on a scale they hadn't hit before. Sessions at Abbey Road turned informal once friends and family started showing up, and some of that room energy carries through the finished record. The songs pull from dancefloors in London, Chicago, Lagos and Sydney, with Yazmin Lacey, Olivia Dean, M.anifest and Moonchild Sanelly joining across its nineteen tracks, three of them short scene-setting interludes.
