Bad Luck Is All I Have (1975) was produced by Eddie Harris himself, recorded at The Village Recorder in Los Angeles and Paragon Studios in Chicago as the follow-up to I Need Some Money. Harris plays tenor sax, varitone and keyboards and sings, with Ronald Muldrow on guitar, Bradley Bobo on six-string bass, Willie Bobo on drums and percussion and Oscar Brashear on trumpet. It mixes funky R&B with Harris' humour, from "Get On Up And Dance" to the long title track, with "It Feels So Good" and "Abstractions" each running over ten minutes. We also have Roy Ayers' Fever and Let's Do It for more mid-70s jazz-funk. This is a US Atlantic pressing by Presswell.
