Adrian Quesada and Eric Burton's 2023 second album was tracked across four cities — Austin, Amsterdam, Mexico City and San Francisco — with Quesada producing and six-time Grammy winner Shawn Everett mixing. Burton has said the goal was simply a record they'd want to play live “200 days a year,” and it shows in the arrangements: soul, symphonic pop, jazz-funk and psychedelia folded together without losing the live-band feel that made their debut work. Ten tracks, JaRon Marshall's keyboards and Josh Blue's bass filling out a fuller studio sound than their first record allowed, background vocals from Lauren Cervantes and Angela Miller.
