Sade's fourth album, released in late 1992 on Epic, moved the group away from live instrumentation toward programmed, layered production — “No Ordinary Love” opens the record on metallic, oceanic guitar work from Stuart Matthewman. Paul Denman's bass and Andrew Hale's keyboards fill out the core band alongside session drummer Martin Ditcham. It reached number 3 on the Billboard 200 and number 1 in France, later placed 247th on Rolling Stone's all-time albums list.
