Chip Wickham's flute has always sat somewhere between Alice Coltrane's harp and a Sunday morning in Marrakech. The Eternal Now leans further into that spiritual-jazz lineage than anything he's released before, recorded with a full band and a real sense of space, the kind of record that opens a room up rather than fills it.
