Taste The Music, released 1982 on Atlantic, is the fifth album from Kleeer, a group that started in 1972 as a backing outfit called the Jam Band, briefly chased hard rock as Pipeline, and settled into disco-funk under its final name by 1978. Self-produced with Dennis King, the record brings in Meli'sa Morgan and Isabelle Coles on lead vocals, trumpeter Jon Faddis, and Luther Vandross on backing vocals, continuing a run that kept the group steadily on the R&B charts.
