Robohands - Violet (LP) 2022 (Mint (M))

Violet, released August 2022 on KingUnderground, is producer and multi-instrumentalist Andy Baxter's latest as Robohands, a twelve-track record marking his first with prominent vocal features, courtesy of singer Aleh on "Wildflower" and "La em Cima." The label describes it as Baxter's most developed songwriting yet, moving between bold, upbeat passages and more somber, heartbroken ones, tied together by a patient, layered structure that reveals itself gradually rather than all at once. The vinyl was cut at 33 1/3 RPM and pressed in several color variants, following Baxter's earlier records for the same label under the Robohands name.
