Straight Foxin', released May 2023 on Wolf Music, is the debut album from Retromigration, fourteen tracks moving between hazy jazz-tinged beats, club-ready house, deep broken beat and even flashes of jungle across its runtime. The record is built on a magpie approach to genre, described as "joining the dots between genres, taking elements from here, ideas from there," pulling from hip-hop, jazz, soul and funk without settling permanently into any single lane for long. Guest spots from Bezzix, Mauricesax, Passion Deez and Nephews add further variation across the tracklist, each collaborator nudging the sound somewhere slightly different.
